Fast Pace

It's crazy how fast society is today.  Fast food, fast cars, and now fast media.  We've all gotten to the point that it seems nothing is fast enough today.  When we have to wait 5 minutes to get our food, there's too much traffic and you're going the speed limit and now the internet isn't fast enough cause we have to wait a few minutes for a page to be pulled up.  Like right before I started writing this post, my internet was taking a few minutes to be pulled up.  I get so impatient when my internet is too slow and things aren't going as fast as we want.  Nothing seems to be fast enough and we get frustrated when in reality, we should be grateful that we just have this amazing technology!

  1. I totally feel you! We should be grateful, although the human mind is fast at processing and no technology will ever keep up. It seems that the more technology we have the more hyper productive and multi-tasked processing our minds do. Great post!!

  2. SOOO true! I feel the same way. The other day I had the opportunity to drive to Salt Lake and chose not to listen to music the entire way. Life seemed to go so much slower and I didn't care if there was traffic, or that I had many things to accomplish. With all this high speed technology, sometimes we get caught up in it and expect everything else to keep up with it's pace. But, sometimes we just all need to slow down and remember how blessed we are.
